CBD FAQs

Is it legal?

CBD oils, which are processed from the hemp plant, are legal to possess under the new federal law as long as they, too, contain no more than 0.3 percent THC.

Can it get me high?

The short answer is no, not even if you tried. Our CBD does not contain tetrahydrocannabinol, Better known as THC. The chemical THC, is what is responsible for the feeling of being "high." The physiological difference is a result of CBD’s lack of connection to cannabinoid receptors in the brain — the molecules THC binds to which ultimately deliver psychoactive effects. Instead, CBD is thought to bind with receptors that manage serotonin.

Where does the CBD come from?

The hemp in KBD is organically grown locally in Wisconsin.

Can I travel with KBD Oil products?

Yes, the TSA recently updated its policies to allow an FDA-approved marijuana-based drug as well as CBD products produced in line with the Farm Bill requirements. Now, passengers are permitted to bring CBD derived from hemp (that contains 0.3% or less of THC) as a carry-on.
